Orchids Limited
Orchids, orchid supplies and orchid books are our main product lines. We specialize in Paphiopedilums, Phragmipediums and unique species and hybrids. We also offer Nepenthes.
REGULAR HOURS:
We are open Monday through Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM. Closed Sundays and Major Holidays.
If you would like to visit our nursery, we are located on the west side of Minneapolis at 4630 Fernbrook Lane North, in Plymouth, Minnesota 55446. To get to us, take the Rockford Road exit (County Road 9) off of I-494 on the west side of the city. Go west two blocks to Fernbrook Lane. Turn right. We are located 1/2 mile north of County Road 9 on the right hand side. Look for our sign.

Orchids Limited at the Paphiopedilum Guild, Morro Bay, California
Jerry Fischer will be attending the Paph Guild at the Inn at Morro Bay, 60 State Park Road, Morro Bay, CA and can bring orchids to the meeting for pickup. Please place orders by January 13.
January 24th & 25th, Winter Carnival Orchid Show.
This is Minnesota's greatest orchid event of the year, held at the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory in St. Paul. We will be a vendor and also have a display at this event. If you are a local MN resident you've got to make this show!

Orchids Limited at Orchid Quest 2009, Madison, Wisconsin
Orchids Limited will be at Orchid Quest held at the Alliant Energy Center, 1919 Alliant Energy Way in Madison, WI. You may pre-order orchid plants and supplies to be brought to the show for pickup there. Please place orders by January 28.
February 3rd, San Diego County Orchid Society, CA.
Jason Fischer will be speaking on the Native Orchids of Japan, which takes a look into the Japanese traditional growing and judging of their species. From photos in situ to the Neofinetia falcata society meetings, this lecture shows how the Japanese view and appreciate a very different type of orchid culture which has similarities to the culture of growing bonsai trees.
Pre-orders are welcome and must be placed by January 30th and are subject to plants orders (no supplies). Please enter 'San Diego pre-order' in the special instructions field when placing the order online. 10% discount offered on all pre-orders.
February 4th, Palomar Orchid Society, Carlsbad CA.
Following the San Diego Orchid Society, Jason will speak on the same subject the next day at the Palomar society. Same pre-order rules apply as listed above.

See our orchids - unique species and select hybrids - on display at the U of M Landscape Arboretum, February 13 through March 8. Orchids Limited will also be participating in other events at the arboretum. For details, see Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. Our orchids will be for sale at the Arboretum's Gift Store.

Orchid Web Videos
We are creating various how-to and other specialized orchid videos which can be viewed in the learning center section of our web site.
We currently have a video demonstrating how to repot paph/phrag orchids. We also have a sample clip of our new Bloom DVD.

CITES Orchid plant Proposal
Recent changes in CITES requirements have made it difficult for nurseries, and hobbyists alike to import orchid plants from foreign countries. Many artificially propagated species and even hybrids are now becoming more difficult to find or are simply unavailable in many countries as nurseries that once were able to export have found the process too overwhelming in terms of paperwork and time.
